General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam McCall (temporarily played by Lindsay Hartley) will battle some suspicions. During the week of August 10-14, Sam will feel like there’s more to Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) than meets the eye. It sounds like Sam will cross paths with Brando and suspect he’s keeping a few secrets.
Of course, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) didn’t trust Brando from the very beginning. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), on the other hand, sized Brando up and decided he seemed like an OK guy.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has been showing Brando kindness and trying to help him out, so he seems to think Brando’s passed the test, too.
However, Sam will have to side with Jason on this one. GH fans know Sam got off on the wrong foot with Brando due to the negative things he had to say about people who fell for cults.
Not only did Brando insult Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth), he hooked up with Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and turned her world upside down.
That Molly hookup wasn’t really Brando’s fault since he had no idea about TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) or any of the stuff going on with her at the time. However, it still set up this sense of distrust for Sam, so her bad feeling about Brando is bound to get worse.
General Hospital spoilers say Brando’s secret meetings with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) could be something Sam finds out about. Brando indeed has one coming up and more could follow.
Sam might even spot Brando with Cyrus and suspect they’re in cahoots. Perhaps Sam will feel like Brando’s been playing Sonny and could pose a serious threat.
Brando could certainly be a big problem for both Sonny and Jason if he’s essentially Cyrus’ person on the inside. Since Brando has invaded Sonny’s inner circle, there’s definitely some danger. That’s especially true since GH has been hinting at deadly trouble for Jason.
Now that Jason has given Carly power of attorney and put her in charge of his decisions in the event he can’t make them himself, a terrible crisis seems to be brewing. Jason’s probably going to land at GH in dire condition as a result of this escalating war with Cyrus.
Sam could easily bring this drama to a boiling point by digging around. Since Sam’s sure to act on her suspicions and follow Brando’s trail, Cyrus may feel like Sam’s the immediate threat here.
If Cyrus makes Sam his next target, Jason’s rescue attempt might go horribly wrong! General Hospital has set up the possibility of wounded, comatose Jason being unresponsive, so Sam may feel like that’s her fault.
