General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, December 8 Recap - Sonny & Jason Plan Julian Hit - Taggert's Trail Gets Hot

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 8, reveal that Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) had a belated anniversary and Thanksgiving celebration at their home.

Jordan had a Mexican fiesta theme going, and things were happy until Curtis mentioned Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) name.

Jordan felt guilty about the recent bombing, but Curtis assured her that she wouldn’t have been able to prevent it even if she had been in town. Jordan also expressed guilt for all the lives lost because of Cyrus over the years, and Curtis argued that because of Jordan, countless lives had been saved.

Later, Curtis whipped out a necklace as a present for Jordan, and they celebrated their anniversary happily.

At GH, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) talked briefly with Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) as she was released from the hospital. Epiphany suggested counseling, but Sasha said that she didn’t need it. Epiphany looked worried.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) walked in with a plan.

Cameron had his mom’s hospital laptop, and Trina said that she’d talk with Epiphany while Cameron tried to access Marcus Taggert’s (Réal Andrews) medical records from the night he was shot. Cameron and Josslyn worked on the laptop, figuring that Trina’s dad was probably really dead, but that Trina needed to believe that he was alive.

Meanwhile, Trina peppered Epiphany with questions about why her dad couldn’t be saved on the night he was shot. Epiphany said that the answers to these kinds of questions wouldn’t help Trina feel better.

Trina said that the only thing that would make her feel better would be if her dad was alive, and that this was the next best thing.

Epiphany said that Trina needed to talk with her mother about this, and she stepped away in time to catch Josslyn and Cameron, who had just accessed Taggert’s file on Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) laptop. “Just what are you doing?” Epiphany bellowed, and the teens made up an excuse and left.

Epiphany then checked Taggert’s file on her tablet and saw that it was accessed one minute ago. Epiphany sighed.

At Cyrus’ place, Cyrus got a 911 text from Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), then he asked Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) to bring the car around.

After some talk about how Brando could have handled the Sasha overdose situation better, Sasha showed up at the door, pretending to be angry that Cyrus didn’t visit her in the hospital. “Even your driver stopped by, but you couldn’t be bothered,” Sasha fumed. “I thought we had a connection!”

Cyrus apologized, saying that he had squandered their connection and that he’d like a second chance. Sasha said that she’d consider it. Cyrus decided to leave for his meeting with Martin, and he left Sasha in Brando’s care, telling Sasha that she was welcomed to stay.

After Cyrus left, Sasha started rummaging around looking for the drugs Cyrus gave her so she could take them to the police. Brando urged Sasha to leave, and he basically pushed her out the door and told her to leave this alone.

Over at the Metro Court, Martin and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) ran into each other. Sonny wanted to talk, and he basically told Martin that he WOULD answer his questions about Julian Jerome (William deVry).

“You’re going to tell me where Julian is,” Sonny said. Martin tried to get out of answering, but eventually he said that Julian came to him for help.

At Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) place, Sam and Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) were playing a board game while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) looked on. Soon, Danny went upstairs, and Jason said that he had a lot to tell her about Julian.

Jason launched into the whole tale of how Julian planted the bomb at The Floating Rib and everything that led up to that happening.

Jason said that Julian knew that Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) had Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) baby, that Julian went to great lengths to cover it up, and that Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) found out about it and used it to blackmail Julian into marrying her.

Jason explained that Nelle left the truth behind for Ryan Chamberlain (John Lindstrom), who got knifed before he could tell Sonny what happened.

Jason continued, saying that Julian went to Cyrus for help in silencing Ryan. Sam figured out that this is how Brad ended up in the hospital, and Jason said that Julian owed Cyrus, so he planted the bomb at The Floating Rib for him.

It didn’t take long for Sam to realize that Cyrus wanted the bomb detonated because Jason was at The Floating Rib, and she ranted about how this information would destroy Lucas Jones (Matt Trudeau).

Jason continued, saying that Julian went MIA after the explosion, then jumped off the turret at Wyndemere. Sam couldn’t take anymore, and she was crying at this point.

“You don’t get a happy ending when you live the life of a mobster,” Sam wailed. Just then, Jason’s phone rang, and it was Sonny calling from the Metro Court to say that he got a lead on Julian.

Sam said that Jason should go, and Jason took off, saying he’d be back as soon as possible. Danny returned to the room wondering where his dad was, and Sam explained that Jason had to go out.

Sam asked Danny what he thought about having Jason home, and Danny admitted that he didn’t like it how Jason left all the time, and they couldn’t plan things.

“It’s great when Dad’s here, but it always ends,” Danny said, noting that he afraid to ask where his dad is going and that it’s weird with all the guards around.

Danny said that his friends can’t come to the house because their parents are scared of Jason. “I wish we had a normal family,” Danny said sadly, hugging Sam.

Back at the Metro Court, Jason arrived to see Sonny, who relayed that Julian stole Martin’s car and some of his cash, but that there’s a tracker in the car.

Sonny declared that they were going to try to take Julian alive so that he could give up Cyrus, but if that wasn’t possible, they’d go ahead and take Julian out. Jason and Sonny decided to meet at Sonny’s place.

Over at the bar, Cyrus sat down next to Martin and ordered a sparkling water. Martin slipped Cyrus a note on a napkin, saying that Julian stole his car and left this morning.

“I always told you I wanted nothing to do with your world, but I thought you deserved a heads-up,” Martin said. Martin got up and told the bartender that Cyrus was paying.

Cyrus paid and left, and then Sonny walked over and learned that Cyrus had paid for Martin’s drink, finding that interesting.

Back at Sam’s place, Jason arrived to get a few things, and Sam was visibly upset. Sam fussed at Jason about missing team night for Danny, then she turned to a more serious matter.

Sam said that Julian had tried to live a lie, and that she couldn’t do that. “When you leave tonight, please don’t come back,” Sam said through tears. Jason looked stunned.
