General Hospital Spoilers: Week of December 21 – Sonny Goes Missing – Maxie Honors Lulu – Christmas Holiday Preemption Schedule

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of December 21-25 tease that we’ll see some scary moments as well as some heartwarming ones. First, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will be unsettled when he can’t get in touch with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Sonny will fly solo for a bit and land in some danger, so Jason will grow concerned once his boss goes missing.

Meanwhile, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have someone she’d like for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to meet. Dante will gush over little Donna Corinthos, so that should lift his spirits a bit.

Over with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), they’ll be thrilled when the find out their baby’s gender.

As for Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), it looks like he’ll taunt Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and suggest that they have more in common than she thinks. Laura will reject that idea and make it clear that she’s nothing like Cyrus at all.

Elsewhere, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will get ambushed and wind up playing poker with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). It seems likely Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will join in to make this a true family bonding experience for the three of them.

Later, Finn will confide in Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), so we’ll see how much he’s willing to divulge about his past with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney). Speaking of Jackie, she’ll be back in Port Charles and willing to chat with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).

Jackie and Robert will do some bonding as they catch up with each other.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will head down to the PCPD in hopes of helping out a friend. It sounds like Diane will bail Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) out of jail and try to make sense of the mess.

Alexis may insist she was nowhere near blackout drunk and wasn’t to blame, but she may not be in a position where she can prove it. GH fans know this is all part of Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) scheme, so we’ll see how long she gets away with it.

Next, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will form a new scheme of her own. She’ll realize she needs a change of plans – and that change of plans may involve manipulating Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) brain to get the evidence she wants out of it.

As for Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), she’ll find herself in need of comfort. That’ll most likely be due to Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) grim fate, but Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will be there to remind Ava that he can be her family now. They’ll get through whatever comes their way together.

General Hospital spoilers also point to some Christmas awkwardness. It looks like Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will be furious over Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) lies about Marcus Taggert (Asante Jones), which could put a damper on the holiday fun.

Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) should suspect trouble once they arrive to help Jordan and Curtis celebrate.

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will offer Curtis some guidance later, so she may think it’s best not to hold grudges. Life is too short for that, so Portia might help Curtis inch toward forgiving Jordan. As for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), she’ll find a reason to lash out at Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) again.

Sasha and Brando will remain at odds, but we’re betting their attraction will start to grow soon, too!

In the meantime, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have to hide her fears when she joins Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) back at the house.

Jason will have filled her in on Sonny going MIA by then, but it seems Carly will pretend it’s all good and try to make this a happy holiday.

Joss and Michael will put up some extra Christmas decorations while Carly’s gone, so she’ll praise her kids’ handiwork. Back with Maxie, she’ll find a way to honor someone who can’t be around for Christmas.

That might mean Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), but Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) is probably a better option since the coma news is still fresh.

Finally, Michael will catch Lucas Jones (Matt Trudeau) off guard. There’ll be a surprise for Lucas, so that could involve one regarding Julian’s deadly outcome – or perhaps a pleasant surprise regarding Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).

It’s possible Michael will push Lucas to spend some time with Wiley and strengthen their connection again.

We should point out that GH will air a repeat episode on Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24. There’ll also be a holiday preemption for sports coverage on Christmas, Friday, December 25, so just keep that in mind! As other updates emerge, we’ll bring you the latest details.

General Hospital spoilers say some great drama’s ahead during the week of December 21-25, so check back often. CDL will have all the sizzling General Hospital spoilers, updates and news you need.
