General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, October 17, reveals that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) seemed to be plotting a plane crash tragedy for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) also surrendered to a DNA test, so here’s how all Monday’s action played out.
In Jacksonville, Peyton Honeycutt (Linda Purl) admitted she was moved by Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) passionate speech to the guild and wanted to apologize.
Although Peyton fought against the parkway in the end, it would’ve been too costly to abandon the project.
However, Peyton hoped for forgiveness and was sorry for blaming Carly over the past.
After Peyton pointed out that Carly was a child who should’ve been protected, Carly suggested that Peyton deserved better from her husband.
Meanwhile, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) caught up with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and was glad he was in Carly’s life.
Soon after, Drew got updates on the guild voting to stick with the parkway.
Once Drew found Carly, she admitted that Peyton sought her out to apologize following the failed vote.
Carly was upset over not being able to honor her adoptive mother’s wishes, but Drew suggested a trip to the beach. That provided some inspiration since Carly had a new idea.
At the Metro Court, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) couldn’t remember anything that might be useful to Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) about Dominique Stanton’s (Shell Danielson) time in Shady Brook.
Scott acted like Cody was going to be trouble, but Mac wanted to give his potential son a chance – especially since this had all been a lot to take in.
At Kelly’s, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) admitted she heard about the potential Mac bio dad situation from Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
Cody was fighting the DNA test since he had a sketchy past and seemed doubtful that Mac could accept a guy like him.
Britt didn’t think Cody could live with not knowing the truth, so he called Mac to agree to the DNA test after all.
Once Britt mentioned Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) personal effects box and how she still needed to get rid of it, Cody offered to help since Britt had already helped him.
Next, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) assured Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that she was “one come hither look away” from finding out Victor’s grand plan.
Anna pointed out that she brought Lucy in to find out what was going on with Valentin, but that should’ve been the end of it.
In his hotel suite, Victor eavesdropped through the bug in Lucy’s necklace and wondered who else was part of Anna’s scheme.
Suddenly, Valentin showed up on Victor’s doorstep.
Valentin was upset about his loyalty getting him nowhere with Victor, who decided his son could visit Charlotte Cassadine (Amelia McClain) on one condition.
Victor insisted Valentin had to leave on his jet alone – and it had to happen right away.
Although Valentin protested and wanted to fly commercial the next day, Victor argued this was the only deal available to him.
Once Valentin left, Victor called someone and said it was time for a repeat performance of the cable car tragedy.
Back at Anna’s place, Lucy insisted she had Victor wrapped around her finger and wanted Anna to stay out of her way.
Anna warned that she might have to take more drastic measures if Lucy refused to listen, but stubborn Lucy ultimately left in a huff.
Once Lucy made it to Victor’s hotel suite, he opened the door and smiled over seeing the star of the show.
As for Valentin, he wound up at Anna’s place and learned they had a Lucy problem.
Of course, there’s an even bigger Valentin problem brewing, so Anna will try to make sure this doesn’t end in disaster! We’ll keep you in the loop as other GH news pops up.
General Hospital spoilers say Victor’s reign of terror is about to get worse, so stay tuned to ABC’s GH.
