General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, January 19 Recap – Brook Lynn Attacks Cameron – Carly’s Jason Confession to Sam

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, January 19, reveals that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) attacked Cameron Webber (William Lipton) with a vase – and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) made a Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) confession to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

After showing up at Carly’s suite, Sam explained that she heard from Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and came to check on her.

Sam offered beer and wondered how Carly was really doing. It took some convincing, but Carly was eventually honest about the issues she was dealing with.

Carly felt like lashing out turned Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) into the victim, but she didn’t have words for how messed up all this was.

Carly was upset over Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) feelings for Nina and how he kept standing up for her.

Carly wondered what that said about her marriage, though she understood Sonny’s feelings on some level because of her feelings for Jason.

Although Carly hesitated because of Sam’s own history with Jason, Sam assured her it was fine.

Carly couldn’t turn her feelings for Jason off, but she insisted that they closed the door on that permanently when Sonny came home.

Although Carly was angry and embarrassed, there was a deep sadness underneath it all. Carly admitted she wasn’t sure her family could recover from the devastation.

At the boxing gym, Sonny interrupted Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) conversation with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

Sonny had heard Chase was the father of Brook Lynn’s baby, so he thought the detective was a better option than Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Sonny also thought Valentin must’ve deserved the punch Chase gave him. However, Sonny grew agitated when Chase insisted nothing was going on with Brook Lynn.

After Sonny wondered if Chase didn’t think Brook Lynn was good enough for him, Dante intervened – giving Chase a chance to hit the showers.

Sonny didn’t act like himself as he talked to Dante about all his problems.

Dante felt like Sonny had to respect Carly’s wishes when it came to needing time and space, but Sonny thought that was the worst thing he could do.

At home alone, Brook Lynn heard a noise and armed herself with a vase before investigating.

Brook Lynn wound up bashing a guy in the head before Chase got summoned back to the house to help her.

At GH, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) learned from Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) doctor that his father’s blood pressure was elevated.

The doc reassured Curtis about adjusting Marshall’s medication, but Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) didn’t think a proper exam was done.

When Epiphany questioned Marshall’s doctor, he basically acted like he knew better than her because she was a nurse.

Meanwhile, Curtis grew frustrated when Marshall acted cagey about his blood pressure issues and medical history.

Curtis thought he was asking regular, run-of-the-mill questions, so the only thing irregular were Marshall’s answers – or lack thereof.

Nevertheless, Marshall truly hoped that he could find common ground with Curtis. He didn’t think their problems were insurmountable.

Next, Epiphany quizzed Marshall about his blood pressure and expressed concern.

Marshall assured Epiphany that he had an understanding with his doctor, so she backed off. They even shared a laugh because Epiphany refused to let Marshall out of sharing their restaurant bill.

Curtis opened up to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) about how he wanted a relationship with his dad, but he wasn’t sure it was possible. Even so, the tension lifted slightly when Curtis offered to take Marshall back to his hotel room.

Once Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) were certain that Marshall was going to be fine, they decided to get their date back on track.

Suddenly, Liz received an alarming call about something that happened with Cameron.

Back at home, Brook Lynn explained to Liz, Finn and Chase how she’d whacked Cameron in the head thinking he was an intruder.

Finn gave Cameron a quick exam to be sure he was OK. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was so sorry since they didn’t know her dad’s old place had someone living in it now.

Cam was apologetic as well, especially since he derailed Liz and Finn’s date night.

However, Finn confirmed that Liz would be interested in another date and kissed her before they parted ways for the evening.

Liz tried to ask Cameron about what was obviously going to happen at Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) old house.

Liz wanted to make sure Cam and Joss were being safe, but Cam wasn’t interested in talking about that. Liz acted like they’d just pick this conversation back up in the morning then.

At the Port Charles Grill, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was talking to Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) when Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) appeared.

Harmony seemed uncomfortable as she hustled over to get her takeout, but Alexis joined her soon after.

Harmony acted like Shawn probably disapproved of her and acknowledged that Sam said she’d be watching her.

Harmony didn’t seem convinced this friendship was going to work, but Alexis acted like she should be able to pick her friends as a grown woman.

Later, Alexis rejoined Shawn and got his perspective. Shawn reminded Alexis of Harmony’s negative history with her daughters, so Alexis knew it was complicated.

Alexis ultimately decided it didn’t look like she’d be able to continue her friendship with Harmony.

The next morning, Dante showed up at Liz’s door. He revealed that something terrible happened last night – something he thought Liz should know about.

General Hospital spoilers say Liz and Cameron are in for quite a shock soon enough.
