The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, March 21, reveals that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) had a secret alley meeting, so Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) spied her brother in trouble. Let’s talk about how things went down on Monday’s B&B episode.
Over the phone, Sheila warned Thomas to stay quiet and avoid ruining all the progress his family had made.
Thomas wanted to meet in person, so Sheila reluctantly agreed. They settled on the alley behind Il Giardino before Thomas disconnected.
After Steffy entered the design office, she confronted Thomas over the intense phone call and wanted to know what was going on.
Steffy called Thomas out on his strange behavior lately, but Thomas did his best to downplay it and acted like he was committed to their family’s happiness.
Steffy knew Thomas was as loyal to their family as anybody, but Thomas said he had to meet someone and took off in a hurry.
A curious Steffy decided to spy on Thomas, so she followed him to Il Giardino.
At Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) place, she admitted she thought she was doing Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) a favor by letting him go.
Now Brooke was wondering what she’d been thinking.
Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) argued that Ridge hadn’t exactly been a prince and felt like he was overreacting to the whole situation.
Moments later, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) showed up.
Brooke kept rambling about how she had destroyed her marriage and didn’t even recognize who she was in the mirror anymore.
Hope felt confident Ridge would come to his senses and didn’t want Brooke making herself sick over this.
Deacon piped up that Brooke had taught him it was never too late.
After Deacon left, Liam pointed out that it probably wasn’t wise for Brooke to be alone with her former flame.
Hope agreed that although Deacon meant well, it might be best for Brooke to keep her distance from him right now.
Brooke clarified that Deacon simply showed up – just like he showed up that horrible night when she couldn’t control herself.
Brooke added that something sinister took over her and she let it win. Brooke felt that she had to make Ridge understand and fix this.
In Sheila’s hotel room, she flashed back to some fierce faceoffs with Brooke over the years.
John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) eventually surprised Sheila with a visit, so she let him in and realized he was checking up on her.
Finn wanted to believe Sheila had changed, but he also didn’t approve of her unannounced visits to Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) office.
Sheila was hoping for the day when they could all be in a room together and show Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot) what love and forgiveness looked like.
Finn admitted that Steffy still had walls up when it came to Sheila.
Finn was counting on Sheila to stay on the straight and narrow, so he asked “Mother” not to let him down.
Sheila assured Finn that every move she made was about getting closer to Finn and Hayes.
Although Finn had to keep Sheila at arm’s link for now, he truly wanted to get to know his birth mom.
Sheila promised that Finn would never hear anything about her letting him down again.
In the alley behind Il Giardino, Thomas scolded Sheila for being late.
Sheila pointed out she wasn’t going to skip out on a visit with Finn and turned Thomas’ attention to their secret. She confirmed that it was indeed THEIR secret now.
Sheila felt like everyone would win if Thomas just kept his mouth shut.
Sheila argued that Thomas was no saint either, but he countered that’s why he didn’t want to let his family down again.
Sheila insisted that Ridge and Taylor had suffered enough.
Sheila saw no harm in “Tridge” getting a new beginning and admitted Finn wanted her to have a bigger role in his life.
After Steffy showed up at the restaurant, she asked if Deacon had seen Thomas.
Deacon said he hadn’t and pointed out that he just got there. Steffy then learned from a bartender that Thomas was back in the alley, so she went out to spy.
As Steffy peeked through a crate, she saw Thomas and Sheila having an intense-looking conversation.
Although Steffy was too far away to hear anything, Sheila warned Thomas to just please do this for her, for him and his entire family.
Sheila urged Thomas to be the hero.
“What the hell, Thomas?” Steffy said to herself. She insisted if Thomas thought she wasn’t going to find out what was going on, then he’d better think again!
