Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 23, reveals that Mr. Wei Shin (Clyde Kusatsu) came blowing into DiMera Enterprises and found Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) sitting in the CEO seat.
Wendy mentioned that she was there to install antivirus software and acted offended that her father didn’t even care how she was doing.
However, Mr. Shin had more important things on his mind since EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) screwed up spectacularly and then went AWOL.
Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) was also nowhere to be found, so Mr. Shin decided to go berate Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) since the trouble all started with his Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) obsession.
In Li’s suite on Thursday’s Days episode, Li suggested a kiss to seal the deal he just made with Gabi, but she wasn’t interested.
After signing a document to make things official, Li assured Gabi that all she had to do was stay married to him for six months and his shares would remain hers.
If Gabi broke the deal, the shares would revert back to Li.
As part of Li’s terms, he wanted Gabi to wear her wedding ring. Gabi let Li put it back on her finger and learned she’d also have to live with him for this six-month period.
Although Gabi wasn’t happy about that part, she wanted the shares and urged Li to find them a house before she headed out.
Afterward on Thursday’s DOOL show, Mr. Shin arrived and blew up at Li since he was no longer working at DiMera Enterprises.
That meant Li couldn’t be Mr. Shin’s eyes and ears, but Li hoped to be back at the company soon.
Li also mentioned the deal he just struck with Gabi for his shares, so Li slapped his son across the face for doing something so foolish.
Nevertheless, Li thought he’d convince Gabi that they belonged together and had an insurance policy when it came to Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton).
Although Li felt confident Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) would keep Dr. Rolf locked up, Mr. Wei offered updates on the news of Rolf’s release.
In the town square on Thursday’s Days episode, Wendy bumped into Gabi and admitted she was on her way to warn Li about their father being back in town.
Gabi told Wendy about the deal she made with Li, so Wendy seemed surprised over Gabi giving her brother some hope.
At the Salem PD, Sloan confronted Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) over Dr. Rolf’s release.
Rafe brought up Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) being Sloan’s paralegal and getting Dr. Rolf to sign his statement.
Sloan realized the statement was missing from her bag and ranted about making the cops pay for using stolen materials for their case.
After Sloan stormed out, Rafe mentioned they might have to arrest Eric over his trick, but he soon turned his attention to the arrest warrant that Jada acquired for Li.
Next on Thursday’s Days episode, Rafe and Jada showed up at Li’s suite while Mr. Shin was still around.
That led to Rafe insisting they were there to arrest Li once again for his role in Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) brainwashing.
At the DiMera mansion, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) was initially skeptical as EJ explained his suspicions about Stefan drugging him.
EJ suddenly remembered the mimosas, so Nicole finally realized she’d been drugged by mistake that day.
Although Nicole was ready to confront Stefan, EJ wanted to get the vial analyzed and confirm what was in it. After that, EJ planned to get back at Stefan, who would never see him coming.
Nicole wanted in on the plan, so EJ seemed pleased and said two could play at this game.
In Eric’s room above the pub, Dr. Rolf acted like fixing Stefan’s brain was impossible since he didn’t have the right equipment and wasn’t a miracle worker.
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) manhandled Dr. Rolf a bit before stroking his ego with some backup from Eric, so Rolf agreed to finish the deprogramming.
Once Eric took Dr. Rolf down to the kitchen, the doc gathered up some supplies like a mixer, a waffle iron and more.
Dr. Rolf used the kitchen gadgets to form makeshift lab equipment and prepared to alter Stefan’s brain once again.
Brady bickered with Stefan about the dangerous procedure and remained determined to get Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) back for himself.
At Dr. Rolf’s request, Brady pulled up a picture of Chloe on his phone so the doc could use it for the projector.
That left Brady staring at Chloe’s projected pic and muttering about how they’d be together soon.
While Dr. Rolf kicked off the deprogramming, Sloan ripped into Eric for posing as her paralegal and betraying her.
Eric ranted about Sloan’s conflict of interest and acted like they both had dirt on each other.
Sloan told Eric that they were through and suggested maybe he could go crawling back to Nicole.
Since Nicole was already “screwing EJ six ways to Sunday,” Sloan left Eric with that mental image and called him a “bastard” as she stomped off.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Dr. Rolf’s release will cause even more drama, so stay tuned to DOOL.
