The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 23, reveals that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) admitted the person she was missing and wanted so desperately in her life again was John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) understood and assured Sheila that she didn’t have to justify her feelings to him.
Sheila was grateful for the wonderful life Bill had given her, but it was hard getting shut out by Finn and receiving no compassion.
It left Sheila wondering if she’d ever have a relationship with her son or grandson again.
After Sheila talked about alienating Finn, Bill suggested there was no point in beating herself up.
Bill also reminded Sheila that she carried Finn and gave birth to him, which couldn’t be discounted.
Sheila wasn’t so sure about that, but Bill said it wasn’t like Sheila to give up.
Since Sheila needed Finn to make her happy, Bill vowed to make a reconciliation happen and acted like Sheila shouldn’t worry about the details.
Bill promised to do whatever it took to reunite Sheila with Finn and pulled her into a warm embrace.
At the cliff house, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) paid Finn a visit and mentioned hearing that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) moved in.
After Li asked how Finn felt about that, he said he loved having Douglas around and welcomed having him there.
Besides, it was something that Steffy Forrester (Jaqueline MacInnes Wood) really wanted.
Ever since Finn learned Sheila was his birth mom, he said he’d become even more protective of the people in his life – including Douglas.
Li remained angry over Sheila’s release and wondered how she had flipped the switch in Bill.
Finn argued that Bill was just as ruthless and self-serving as Sheila, but he insisted Bill had better be satisfied with just keeping Sheila out of prison.
After Finn warned that no one got a second chance to terrorize his family, he promised Li that he’d never allow Sheila to get close to him or his family again.
At Il Giardino, Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) filled Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) in on Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) pretending to be Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) when she called in the order.
Hollis was excited over the news of his date – though he was willing to call it off if Deacon had a problem with him seeing his ex. Since Hollis was genuinely fascinated by Brooke and had sincere interest in her, Deacon was fine with it.
Deacon just wanted Hollis to remember Brooke was his daughter’s mother, so Hollis insisted he understood.
Tonight was about spending time with an amazing woman and getting to know her better.
At Brooke’s house, Taylor admitted she talked to Hollis and helped with the elegant dinner date setup that sat before them.
After Taylor urged Brooke to just have fun, she suggested this could be the beginning of a brand-new chapter.
Once Brooke donned a lovely dress, Taylor said she looked absolutely stunning and understood why this whole dating thing was awkward.
Both Brooke and Taylor had tunnel vision when it came to Ridge for most of their lives, so Taylor realized the fear of the unknown was scary.
Taylor said Brooke just had to do what she knew how to do – and that was be fabulous!
After Taylor assured Brooke that she could do this, she guaranteed that Brooke would be so glad she did.
Once Brooke hugged Taylor, Hollis showed up at the door. When Hollis saw how beautiful Brooke looked for their date, he said to give him a second to catch his breath.
Hollis thanked Taylor for her help with the romantic setup, so Taylor suggested she was happy to do it and mentioned that dinner was in the oven.
After Taylor left, Hollis accepted a glass of mineral water and shared a toast with Brooke, who found all this very surprising.
Hollis asked which part, so Brooke said being on a date and being on one with Hollis.
Once Hollis confessed to admiring Brooke for years, he pointed out that he couldn’t act on it before now.
Hollis nearly mentioned Ridge, but he quickly steered the conversation away from Brooke’s ex and focused on how drop-dead gorgeous she was in that dress.
On Thursday’s B&B episode, Brooke smiled as Hollis said he was excited to see where the night took them.
