The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, February 20, teases that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will reject Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) ultimatum. Although kicking Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) off the throne will be out of the question, Victor will assure Adam that he’ll have the chance to run a company just as powerful.
However, Adam will be skeptical when it comes to Victor delivering on his promises.
After Adam gives Victor 24 hours to reconsider his proposal, he’ll act like no offer will matter after that.
Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Victoria will talk to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) about Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) offering to sell them McCall Unlimited.
Nate will mention Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) spilling their strategy to Tucker and leaving him unsettled enough to make a move.
Once Victoria decides they should buy up Tucker’s debt anyway as a tool for negotiations, Victor will be on the same page.
Unfortunately, a phone call will bring the news that someone else bought Tucker’s debt first, so Victoria will fume over Newman missing their chance.
While Victoria and Victor wonder who gained the upper hand, Tucker will talk to Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) about his plan to sell McCall Unlimited to Newman Enterprises.
Someone will eventually get in touch to reveal that some mystery person bought up Tucker’s debt.
Ashley will play games with Tucker before confessing she bought the debt herself and intends to make things difficult.
After Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) meets with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and goes over the risks of his lawsuit, he’ll still want her to represent him.
Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will also deliver some words of caution, but Devon will think this is how it has to be.
At The Grand Phoenix, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will be grateful for Lucy Romalotti’s (Lily Brooks O’Briant) bracelet and will make it clear that he’s going to be a better dad from now on.
Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will privately warn Daniel about how badly Lucy’s been hurt and encourage him not to push too hard when it comes to reconnecting.
Later, Daniel will confide in Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), who’ll learn Heather dumped him for someone else.
Daniel will also be heartbroken over how hurt Lucy was and won’t think he even has the motivation to continue Omega Sphere.
Once Lily gives Daniel a pep talk about the importance of this project, he’ll ask for time to figure out where he is emotionally.
When Nate gets off the elevator near his penthouse, he’ll notice Christine is leaving Devon’s place.
Christine will sidestep Nate’s questions, so he’ll guess the meeting was about business as well as Devon’s war with Lily.
After Christine speaks with Lily about the lawsuit, Lily will realize she needs backup.
Since Lily won’t be satisfied with her counsel at Chancellor-Winters, she’ll call Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and hope she’ll return to serve as the company’s attorney in this fight.
At Society, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will try to convince Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to stay positive ahead of the DNA test results.
Once Nick meets up with Sally, they’ll have a brief encounter with Adam before landing at Crimson Lights.
That’s where Sally will get a text that lets her know the paternity test results are available.
Back with Daniel, he’ll gaze at the blue bracelet Lucy handed over and seem pensive.
