Beyond the Gates spoilers reveal the CBS soap just dropped its preview video for the week of May 2-9, and it looks like there are some major moments fans should take note of.
Next week, everyone in Fairmont Crest will continue to reel from Leslie Thomas’s (Trisha Mann-Grant) bombshell, with some characters shaken to their core, while others try to pick up the broken pieces of their lives now.
The video opens with half-sisters, Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Muhammad) and Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) still in their party attire, at the country club.
It’ll clearly still be the night of the anniversary bash by the time next week rolls around.
Eva passes Kat a piece of paper, and states, “Proof”, as Kat replies with, “You got a DNA test?”
Scenes quickly shift to show Nicole Richardson’s (Daphnée Duplaix) with her sister Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley).
The jilted wife is at home and looks pale as she tells her sister that she feels as if her life stopped after Leslie’s revealed her secret affair with Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson).
Nicole goes on to tell Dani that since the truth came out, she’s been unable to move, feel, or rage. Nicole has a long road ahead, but will it include a reconciliation with Ted?
That seems unlikely. With that said, the next clip in the BTG preview will then bounce back to the night of Nicole and Ted’s anniversary party.
Everyone is still in their attire from the shindig, as Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis), Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie), Chelsea Dupree (RhonniRose Mantilla), Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit), and Dani, are all gathered around the piano.
Vernon tells the ladies that, “It’s a long, dark night Duprees. We don’t know how long the darkness will last, but the sun will rise!”
As the camera pans, all the Dupree women look concerned, so here’s hoping the family can start to heal and move forward in light of all this drama!
Lastly, the promo closes with a clip of Eva, still in her anniversary party attire, and it looks like she’s at Ted’s hotel room door.
He’s clearly been kicked out of the Richardson family mansion, so it sounds like he’ll call the local motel his home for now!
Still, no face is shown, as the man (who seems to be Ted) opens the door, as Eva declares, “I had nowhere else to go”. Eva is very emotional for the night’s events, so will Ted allow her to stay with him?
Beyond the Gates spoilers remind fans that Eva thought Ted rejected her, which is why she went along with Leslie’s plan – and despite this she still tried to stop her mother!
Both Eva and Ted are victims of Leslie’s manipulation, so can they bond over this or will Ted shut the door on any relationship with his daughter?
