Ava’s week as HOH was at an end. It was perhaps the most successful HOH so far. She only had to nominate three people and one of those three went home. She didn’t really want it to be Zach. It was the house that was in favor of it. They evicted Zach. It was now up to someone else to win HOH tonight. Naturally, everyone tried to get it. There have been some on the bottom. Like Keanu. There have been some ready to take revenge. Like Morgan. They all wanted to win HOH for various reasons and the most important one being power. They needed power to get ahead in this game.
Morgan was so crushed that Zach went home. She alone knew his secret. She knew he had the power to buy safety and he didn’t take it. She thought it was because of her, but truthfully he didn’t have the votes. It’s why Morgan voted against him. It’s also why Lauren voted against him. Zach had such a huge crush on Lauren and she still voted against him. She kinda had to because people that voted to keep Zach were getting targeted. Rachel was Mickey’s new target. They haven’t been friendly since Jimmy went home during Mickey’s HOH.
Rachel voting to evict Vinny has only given Mickey even more of an excuse. She wants Rachel gone. She was willing to do anything to do so. She also has the majority. Rachel was on the outs and she knew she had to win HOH that week or risk being put on the block. She was getting friendly with Keanu. Only Keanu did not know how to play this game. He was great at competitions and not so much at the house politics. He was still hoping to play the middle when it was no longer a possibility. There was a target on his back because he was so good at competitions.
Mickey even claimed it’s Keanu’s fault that Zach went home. “If Keanu didn’t keep winning, he’d have gone home instead of Zach”. She said that with a straight face. The others didn’t know that she essentially nominated Zach. She convinced Amy to nominate him and it’s her fault he went home. She was crying. She was laying it on thick. She told them they have to get HOH that week in order to take out Rachel and Zach. It was all a dance for Morgan. Morgan didn’t want Zach to go home. She really liked him. She tried to get him the votes and nothing she did worked.
Morgan ultimately had to choose between him and their friend, Vinny. She chose Vinny at the time. Now, she wants revenge against Ava as well as making a move against Rachel. The HOH competition tonight was the way to do it. It’s called the Party Slasher. They had to dress up as if they were going to a prom in the 80s. They studied a house with six rooms. They had to memorize those rooms because the killer would be calling them. They had to be in a safe room based on the clues or get murdered if they got it wrong.
Most of the house got it wrong that first time. Half of them were eliminated. It soon came down to Rachel and Morgan. One wanted revenge and the other safety. Both were very strong motives yet the winner proved to be Rachel. The Queen struck again! Mickey, Morgan, and Vinny were all scared. They were making plans to take her out long before she ever got close to HOH. They should have played it smart like Ashley and Will. Those two were friendly with the trio and Rachel. They knew targeting Rachel so early in the game was silly.
There were bigger targets in the house. By trying to oust Rachel, they brought out her fight. Vinny has been on her hit list since he nominated Amy for speaking up for Ashley. Morgan told Rachel that they needed to help her get to jury and it implied she wasn’t getting to the end. Mickey nominated one of their biggest shared allies because Jimmy dared to play the game. He was less guilty than Vinny. Vinny got to stay. Jimmy got evicted after being nominated by a supposed friend. They failed to see that they acted first and now they were worried about payback.
Rachel was shaving in her now private bathroom when Mickey came in for a chat. They both tried to gage the other’s feelings about their alliance. The alliance felt dead at first. They didn’t say it out loud. Rachel instead tried to get Mickey to flip on who wants to oust her. Mickey felt Rachel was being fake. They ran circles around plain speech until finally they got to actually talking. Rachel had been willing to work with Kelley and then Kelly told Mickey about their conversation. Mickey revealed that to Rachel to save herself. And Kelley should have been smarter.
Kelley quickly realized that for herself. She said instigating stuff at this time was the worst move. She almost found herself back on the block.
Rachel later nominated Vinny, Morgan, and Mickey.
