In tonight’s The Masked Singer episode, they kicked off the night with the incredible Christina Perri. She performed “A Thousand Years”. It’s from the movie “Twilight” and that also happened to be the theme of the night. All night long they recreated scenes from the movie. There was Cat Witch. She had her own love triangle.

She could’ve ended up with a Jacob and she turned down his proposal because he wasn’t the right one. She waited until her Edward came calling. Her clue package had a blue onesie. It seemed to take place in Italy with the scenic atmosphere. And there was a blimp that could indicated she won a Kids Choice Award.

The Cat Witch performed “It Will Rain” by Bruno Mars. She really does have a great voice. It was rather hard to pin down because she could be a child actor for all they knew whose now grown up. Her final clue was a chocolate turkey. She performed in front over thirty million people. Meaning she performed at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. Jenny was doubling down on Victoria Justice. She does sound like her for all the kids that grew up on a Nickelodeon diet. Ken suggested Zendaya because he always comes up with a wild guess.

Though he wasn’t too far off because Zendaya does have a milkshake connection. She was on a tv show called “Shake It Up”. She also performed for the parade one year. Ken was closer to the mark than Rita was. Rita thought this could be Hailee Steinfeld. Only wasn’t Hailee currently pregnant? Rita forgot about that and Jenny remembered. It would’ve been a good guess besides that one big thing. The Cat Witch was soon followed by the 14 Karat Carrot. He showed off his playful side tonight.

He first met his wife when they were eighteen. They locked eyes on campus. They had a rough start and then he won her over. They now have a family of vegetables. He has an Image award. He has a star on the Walk of Fame. Who could he be? 14 Karat Carrot performed “Tainted Love” by Gloria Jones. He put his own spin on it and his performance ended in a food fight that was very high school coded. Ken was once again the most ridiculous one because he guessed Lionel Ritchie. Which was just as big of a no as his previous guess of Morgan Freeman.

Jenny thought the famous family could make this Jermaine Jackson. Her guess would explain why he could sing. It just wouldn’t explain why he wasn’t dancing. The Jacksons were famous for their dancing ability. It wasn’t just Michael and Janet. It was the whole set. Robyn then thought it was Ron Isley from the Isley brothers. He was from a famous family. He was up there in age and it would explain why he wasn’t dancing anymore. The 14 Karat Carrot was then followed by the Stingray. The Stingray was married.

He proposed on a beach. There was the downside because a huge spider nearly ruined the proposal. It didn’t because he still went through with it, but his final clue was a ring from his wife. She wished him a Happy Valentine’s Day. It was the second theme of tonight’s episode. The panel had their spouses wish them the same and Donnie sent Jenny some roses. She happily shared them with a jealous Ken. Ken happened to think Stingray was an old friend of Donnie’s. He thought Stingray was Joey McIntyre.

It would match up with the clues. Then again so would Jenny’s guess of Jordan Fisher. He was in High School Musical the tv show. It would explain the sports angle. The Stingray’s voice on the other hand gave Rita the initial theory this could be Jason Derulo. He performed “Bad Habits” by Ed Sheeran. He definitely did some singing professionally by the tone of his voice. He was then followed by the final performance of the night from the Owl. The Owl was another one that was married. He had instant connection with his wife on their first date.

The Owl dedicated his performance of “White Wedding” by Billy Idol to his wife. His voice was distinctive and at the same time so hard to place. He chose the Owl because he enjoys bird watching with his wife. The performers were all very romantic tonight. Perfect for the second theme. That voice though had everyone guessing all over the place. Robyn came up with Walter Goggins. Jenny came up with Ted Danson. The only thing that anyone could tell about him was that he’s not a singer.

The Owl ended up in the Vampire Royale with the Stingray. They performed “Love Is A Battlefield”. The Owl lost out tonight because again he wasn’t a singer while Stingray was. The final guesses were in. Robyn thought he could Dennis Quade. Both Jenny and Ken thought he could be Ted Danson. Rita thought he could be Kurt Russell. In the end, the Owl proved to be Billey Ray Cyrus because all the judges had been wrong.

Billy Ray Cyrus really did stun everyone.

THE END!
