In tonight’s Tracker episode, a young man began looking for his parents. They were missing. He didn’t have money for a reward only Colter spotted him breaking into his parents’ car because he was worried something had happened to them. He later explained to Colter that his parents would never disappear on him.

It’s only been a day. It wasn’t enough to officially report them missing. Still, he was worried because their boat was also missing. Colter was clearing things up that his own father left behind so he had been in the area already and he stopped Ian Morrison from breaking into the car. And then he got the whole story.

Colter couldn’t not help. He agreed to go looking for the parents’ boat. They were fishermen. They’ve been struggling with money lately and might’ve taken on some odds jobs to make ends meet.

Ian thought maybe they took the boat out too far. Or someone harmed them. They were a lot of off-gridders in the area. They were the people you don’t mess with. They can be scary and they were definitely armed. Colter followed the boat trail to a mountainous area. He found out that Ian’s parents were in way over their hears there.

The Morrisons were forced to give two drug dealers a ride. Unfortunately, those drug dealers were wanted by the person they stole the drugs from. They stole from Wyatt Griffin.

He was the biggest dealer that side of the mountain. Everyone knew not to cross him. He’d kill anyone for stealing from him or helping others in stealing from him. The Morrisons may not have become involved willingly, but they were in it now and they could be collateral damage. Colter called Randy. They found out that the dealers took the Morrisons to some buyers.

The buyers realized pretty quickly that this was Griffin’s missing shipment. They called him. They reported who stole from him. They then tried to keep the dealers there until Griffin showed up. Only it resulted in a shootout. The dealers made off with the Morrisons. They stole the buyers’ jeep.

The jeep couldn’t be tracked because it doesn’t have GPS. The geniuses that started it all still believed they could be tracked so they tried to escape on foot. Again, they took the Morrisons with them. TJ and Molly had no plan. No backup plan or a way out of Alaska. They were all running for their lives after that shootout.

Traveling by foot only slowed them down. Griffin was a great tracker. He was just as good as Colter was. He easily found them and he had his sniper rifle with him.

He managed to shoot Hal Morrison. TJ and Molly then ran off with Vera Morrison because she knew the pathways on that mountain. It was only her that could show them the shortcuts. This whole thing began because Molly used to date Griffin. He was her ex. He managed to cross her off and she planned on stealing his drugs with her new boyfriend, TJ.

They had this idea that they could steal from him without him noticing. They planned on getting out of Alaska and going to California. Only by this point it was an open secret they stole from Griffin. There was no one dumb enough to buy from them or assist them in anyway.

They only got Vera helping because she was being held at gunpoint. Colter later came upon Hal. Hal suffered a shoulder wound. He also hit his head when he went down and was left by the others. Colter wanted him to call for help. And Hal refused to do that with his wife still missing.

Hal wanted to go with Colter to look for his wife. He made it halfway through before his body gave up. Hal finally listened to Colter then. He couldn’t go on so Colter did it for the both of them.

He tracked down everyone to an abandoned house. TJ had apparently betrayed Molly. He agreed to give her up in return for leaving with his life. Griffin got through to him by poking holes in the official story. He said that Molly left him. She ran off and that TJ touched things that didn’t belong to him. Griffin was willing to let TJ go with the drugs if he let him harm Molly.

The same Molly that refused to abandoned TJ because she thought they were in love. Surprisingly the one person that didn’t abandon Molly to her abuser was Vera.

Vera fought with Griffin. She helped him off long enough for Colter to arrive. Colter got into a fight with Griffin. It eventually led to him killing Girffin. The worst was over. Vera was reunited with her husband and son. And Colter was on his way back from Alaska right as Reenie needed help.

Reenie’s lawsuit now involved wrongful death. Something the company she was suing was fighting with everything they had. It turned nasty and they were now stalking her, but they wanted her to know she was being stalked so they sent photos of herself to her. It spooked her enough to get a gun. Whether it will be helpful is anyone’s guess.

THE END!
