Beyond the Gates spoilers for Monday, May 5 suggest the land of Fairmont Crest will still be reeling in the aftermath of Ted Richardson’s (Maurice Johnson) and Nicole Richardson’s (Daphnée Duplaix) anniversary chaos.
Both the Dupree and Richardson families will band together during the fallout of Leslie Thomas’s (Trisha Mann-Grant) bombshell.
From the looks of it, the May 5 episode will pick up where the Friday, May 2 show left off.
Fans should expect to see a confrontation between Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Muhammad) and Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle).
Kat will likely find it hard to believe that Eva is her biological half-sister, but the Richardson family assistant will have the proof Kat needs to no longer question this.
As fans may recall, Eva was able to run a DNA test before the party, so she’ll have the document on hand during Monday’s show to prove that she is Ted’s daughter.
How will Kat adjust to this “new normal” in her family dynamics? Fans will have to tune in to find out.
Speaking of Ted, it won’t take any time for Nicole to kick him to the curb, so he’ll shack up in a hotel room for the time being.
The BTG preview shows Eva knocking at her father’s hotel door, with an emotional plea to allow her in for the night.
After all, she’ll have nowhere else to go as Leslie has likely kicked her out of their apartment, as well.
After all, Eva betrayed her mom by trying to stop her from spilling her secret about the affair at the party.
While Eva did lie to Nicole and Ted during her stint as their temporary assistant, helped Leslie by gathering intel on the family and reporting back, as well as coming up with the idea for the very party where Leslie dropped her truth bomb; Eva was also manipulated by Leslie.
Eva grew up thinking Ted never wanted her, when in actuality, he never knew she existed.
Will Ted realize that he and Eva were both victims of Leslie’s lies?
Across town, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie), Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis), Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley), Chelsea Dupree (RhonniRose Mantilla), and Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) will still be gathered at the Dupree mansion on the May 5 episode, trying to make sense of everything.
The group will still be fuming at Ted and Bill Hamilton’s (Timon Durrett) betrayal.
Still, how will this latest drama affect the Duprees’ image? Especially since the family has been plagued by scandals as of late!
While everyone will be down in the dumps, it sounds like Vernon will try and offer his fam-jam some hopeful words for the future.
