Judge Warren Fels was recently honored as “Judge of the Year”. ADA Carisi even gave a speech at the ceremony. He counted the judge as a friend and they were in the parking garage together when a young man shot the judge. Carisi stopped the shooter from getting a second shot off. He ran away, but now the question was why. It seemed someone had come forward claiming the judge sexually assaulted her. They released a video online in which they made that claim and now people are trying to kill the judge over it. It could be revenge or it could be another victim for all SVU knows. They still had to investigate it.

Captain Benson spoke to Carisi. Carisi didn’t believe the claims. He said that the judge mentored him at law school. He was a good friend and he didn’t think he was capable of sexual assault. The judge survived the assassination attempt. He woke up at the hospital. Carisi visited him with Bruno. Bruno asked him if he recognized his accuser. The judge immediately silenced himself. He said he wasn’t going to talk to police without the presence of his lawyer. The rest of the squad found the accuser.

Her name is Elsa Clark. She goes by ElsaXXX on a escort site called Midnight Page. Curry spoke to her and she got a bad feeling from it. The story sounded rehearsed. She didn’t want to go into details. She then accused Curry of working for the judge. She stormed off. Curry found her again. She was a college student. They even found out the gunman that shot Fels was her supposed roommate. She had another roommate named Matt. They both listened to Elsa. Jeremy was the shooter. He said that he wanted payback for what the judge did to Elsa.

Only the judge never touched her. She made the whole accusation up. She claimed that assault happened in the robbing room after she was arraigned one Saturday night. There was no such for that courthouse. They also found footage of Elsa in New Jersey the night she claimed the judge assaulted her. She was with a man named Robbie. They got pulled over for speeding and received a ticket. The footage changed the whole investigation. There were cigarette burns on Matt. He refused to discuss this Robbie and Jeremy was clearly not in the right mind.

Jeremy accused the judge of all sorts of evil. It was all made up. This included the accusation. Matt wouldn’t talk because Robbie showed up. Robbie was Robbie Miller. He was Matt’s dad. He was also living in the dorms with them. There was a fourth roommate who called in a welfare check. Her name is Colleen. The detectives spoke to her about Robbie and she said he was running a cult. Robbie makes up all these fantastical claims. He even attempted to do so with Benson. He claimed he was undercover and that it was all hush hush.

The truth is that the man just got out of prison. He dropped out of high school. He went to work in a tile factory. He was working the mob and they got taken down – he got put in jail for money laundering. He came out and he tracked down the son he used to abuse. He moved in with him. He began abusing his friends until they were under his control. He controlled what they ate. He put them in debt for bogus charges with high interest rates and he forced Elsa to pay it off by becoming a prostitute.

He sleep deprived them. He tortured them. He was the one sexually assaulting Elsa. Not the judge. The kids never met the judge and yet they were trained to hate him. They were told to believe Fels was at the root of all evil. Carisi spoke to his friend again. He recognized Robbie. He said their parents were friends and that they were neighbors as kids. When the judge became a judge, Robbie reached out to him to see if he could pull some strings. The judge instead reported it. He was found guilty of attempting to bribe a judge.

Robbie stayed in prison until he was released. He now hates the judge with a passion. The judge forgot all about him. He never thought Robbie would hate him this much. A con man’s first target was usually himself. He convinced himself that it was the judge’s fault that his life turned out the way it did. The man walked into the police station thinking he could charm them into giving him back his favorite toy. He studied FBI, CIA, and NYPD tactics as a means of getting those kids to kill the judge for him. He planted false memories in their heads. He convinced them that their parents abused them because the judge said so.

They weren’t abused at all. They were happy and healthy until this man showed up in their life. Robbie was arrested for the abuse he carried out on the students and he acted as his own lawyer. He questioned his son on the stand until Matt broke. Matt apologized to him because he was still under his sway a bit. Jeremy on the other hand held up. He’s been away from Robbie for four weeks since he’s been in prison. He helped him remember who he was and who he wanted to be. He wanted to be a lawyer. And Robbie took that away.

It was Jeremy’s testimony that truly sunk Robbie. He was found guilty on all charges. Matt also attacked him in court. No one was going to believe him ever again.
