In tonight’s Watson episode, Sasha was at church when she spotted someone in trouble. Her name is Aubrey. Aubrey was hungover from the night before and it was already three in the afternoon.
She puked into a bag. Sasha felt for her. She introduced herself. She found out her name is Aubrey. She also allowed Aubrey to go into confession before her. Aubrey wasn’t in there long when she lost consciousness. Sasha suspected it was an overdose. She did CPR until the ambulance came. They gave Aubrey Narcan.
Nothing fixed what was wrong. Aubrey was pronounced dead at the hospital. Sasha stayed with the body. Stephens stopped by to offer support and they were together when suddenly Aubrey came back to life. It was the Lazarus Syndrome. It was named after the biblical figure who rose from the dead.
There was often no explanation for it. Aubrey thought it was a miracle. Her doctors wanted to know what killed her. Aubrey couldn’t tell them what she was on. She didn’t know herself. She said the guy called it 80s.
Aubrey didn’t even recall that conversation when she came back to life. She was dead set on making her second chance of life worth it. Her biggest regret was stealing money out of a joint account with her ex-fiancé. It was one hundred-eighty-five thousand dollars. It was his dream to open a fancy pierogi place.
Aubrey always felt bad about taking it from him. She went through the money and now she was going to do everything possible to raise it so that she could pay him back. She didn’t want to waste her second chance by sticking around the hospital.
Aubrey stayed long enough for the tests to be done then she split. Watson’s team was looking for her. They got back her results and she was due for another cardiac event.
She has a lot of blockage around her heart. They needed to bring her back in before she dies again because the next time might be permanent. Sasha went to go look for her at the church. She found her making an appeal to the congregation. She was asking for their help in raising money for her ex. Someone recorded it. They helped her get viral.
Aubrey then passed out in church. She was taken back to the hospital where she had a rare cardiac event that miraculous healed itself. She was getting better and then her ex ruined it. He accused her of fraud. He called her a cheat. Her online fundraising got taken down. The money was returned to the donors.
Aubrey’s condition got worse out of nowhere. She was on the brink of another cardiac event and so they needed to know her past. They went to go speak to the ex. He was still so angry that he refused to address Aubrey.
Beanie said she was his past. Well, his mom felt differently. She talked to Watson and Sasha. She said the couple was so in love. She didn’t know what went wrong and neither did her son. Things were great then Aubrey just left with the money. She took everything he had saved. She took away his dream.
Watson was at a loss on what happened until he saw the last photo of the couple together. He helped him develop a theory. The theory if proven right could better Aubrey’s odds. She was sinking by that point. Watson got her back up to 50/50.
Watson determined that Aubrey was once pregnant. She sorta mentioned it at the start. They just didn’t put it together until they saw the photo and realized why she wasn’t drinking at her thirty-fifth birthday. She was pregnant. She miscarried. Her body absorbed some of the fetus’s cells.
They needed a way to remove those cells before it kills her. Now, it was going to be hard because it all depends on if the fetus had been a boy or a girl. They could find the cells with the Y chromosome if the fetus had been a boy. And if it was a girl, it was going to be much harder extracting from Aubrey.
The procedure worked. Aubrey was going to make a full recovery. She even received a letter from her ex-fiancé. He said he forgives her. He wants her to live a long and healthy life.
He also added that he accepts Zelle and Venmo. It made Aubrey laugh. She hasn’t done that in a while. She was finally overcoming her biggest mistake. It had made the others think of their own mistake. Ingrid regrets not killing her father sooner. Adam for trying lacrosse. There were simple things and bad things. And they regretted them all.
Watson also found out Mary was dating someone new and he made sure the guy got tested because he found a white light in his eye in a photo they took together.
No worries, it proved to be easily treatable.
